Who’s ready for some football…
High school football season is just around the corner. Our Panthers were off to a slow start on getting a 2026 varsity team together. Athletic Director Ryan Vanskyock put out notice on social media Monday that the football program needed more players.
I’m asking you to help share this post! We had 12 students show up tonight for the first official day of high school football practice. We also have 3 more players who were out of state today, bringing us to around 15 players.

After a little incentive from Coach Plank, Mayor Jones and AD Vanskyock to cook a homemade breakfast after the homecoming game it looks like we have a team and will be ready for another year of Panther football.

The Panthers lead off the 2026 season with a scrimmage game on Friday August 14th at Monroe Central Jr-Sr High School at 7:00 pm.
The regular season starts on August 21st at Southern Wells Jr-Sr High School at 7:00 pm and the home opener will be September 11th against Madison-Grant at 7:00 pm at Panther Stadium
