The project is&nbsp;expected&nbsp;to improve safety by reducing the number and severity of crashes at the intersection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction is&nbsp;expected&nbsp;to begin in&nbsp;spring 2027&nbsp;and last&nbsp;one year.&nbsp;During construction,&nbsp;S.R. 28 and&nbsp;S.R.&nbsp;213&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;closed&nbsp;for approximately 6 months&nbsp;at a time.
